Marriage and Madness [1] - M Wild
This is an investigation into some of the more colourful ancestors on Mr Wild. He describes the marriage of one William Wild to Isabella Cruden as more of a contract than an act of romance. Isabella's brother Alexander was then admitted to a lunatic asylum in Chelsea.

Hillingdon - Mavis Sibley
Mavis starts the history of Hillingdon in 1078 when the place is recorded as "Hildendune" which means "Hildes Hill". A map of Hillingdon in 1800 is included.

Our next meeting is on Thursday 18th April 2024. The focus of the meeting will be a talk by Ann Larkham titled Dating and Identifying Family History Photographs. Ann will be speaking on Zoom. Members may be remote or at St. John's.
