The Society publishes a quarterly journal, distributed to all members. This contains articles on family history research in the area; on record sources and research methods; and on local history. It also includes details of Society meetings, projects and services, local and national family history news. A "Help!" section for those seeking assistance and surname interests of new members are also regular features. All members are encouraged to make their own contribution to the publication.
