Objectives

The principal objectives of the West Middlesex Family History Society may be summarised:

to promote the study of all aspects of family history and allied subjects;
to encourage the practice of, and distribution of information on, family history and related subjects, by means of lectures on relevant topics;
to preserve and promote access to records and any other sources of material by transcription, indexing and publication.

These objectives form the basis of the constitution of the Society, which also sets out the terms of membership, governance and procedures by which the Society is run.

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday 16 February 2012 at Montague Hall, Hounslow. Doors open at 7.00 pm. The focus of the evening will be a talk entitled My Ancestor was in the Fire Brigade by Ken Divall.

Open Day 2012
