Project work in the Society

The objects of the West Middlesex Family History Society, defined in our constitution make it clear that such activities as transcription, indexing and publishing of records and other materials, which can assist those researching family history and related subjects in the West Middlesex area, are central to the purposes of the Society.

The post of Projects Co-ordinator is currently vacant. If you are a member of the Society and might be interested in taking on this role, please make yourself known to the Chairman or another member of the Executive Committee.

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday 16 September 2010 at Montague Hall, Hounslow. Doors open at 7.00 pm. The focus of the evening will be a talk by Adam Brand on the subject Grapho-genealogy - re-assessing our ancestors' characters through their handwriting.

WMFHS Open Day 2010

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have been obliged to cancel our planned Open Day on 26 September 2010.
