Project work in the Society

The objectives of the West Middlesex Family History Society, as defined in our Constitution, include that activities such as transcription, indexing and publishing of records and other materials, which can assist those researching family history and related subjects in the West Middlesex area, are central to the purposes of the Society.

The Society is open to new ideas on how best to fulfil these objectives. Much transcription work and collection of data has already been accomplished. These are the projects currently in progress or waiting for a volunteer:

Next Meeting

Our meetings have resumed, and are open to all, not just those within range of Isleworth. See the Meetings page . On 15th October we hold our AGM and Robert Parker will be giving a talk titled 'Finding your ancestors on Ancestry.co.uk'.

Next Fair

We don't have any actual fairs scheduled, but we will be present at the Family History Show Online which takes place on Saturday 26th September.

Next Advice Session

Advice sessions run at Feltham Library have had to be suspended, but advice may be requested by email. See the Advice page.
