Project work in the Society

The objectives of the West Middlesex Family History Society, as defined in our Constitution, include that activities such as transcription, indexing and publishing of records and other materials, which can assist those researching family history and related subjects in the West Middlesex area, are central to the purposes of the Society.

The Society is open to new ideas on how best to fulfil these objectives. Much transcription work and collection of data has already been accomplished. There are currently three projects which are still in progress:

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday 21st September 2017 at Montague Hall, Hounslow. Doors open at 7.15 pm. The focus of the meeting will be a talk by Kirsty Gray titled Heir Hunting - The Real Deal.

Next Advice Session

Our next Advice Session will be held at Feltham Library on Saturday September 16th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Are you able to join our Committee?

The committee meets every two months in Hounslow. We would like a few more members to join us and help to run the show. Enthusiasm is the only pre-req.
