Project work in the Society

The objectives of the West Middlesex Family History Society, as defined in our Constitution, include that activities such as transcription, indexing and publishing of records and other materials, which can assist those researching family history and related subjects in the West Middlesex area, are central to the purposes of the Society.

The Society is open to new ideas on how best to fulfil these objectives. Much transcription work and collection of data has already been accomplished. There are currently three projects which are still in progress:

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday 20th April 2016 at Montague Hall, Hounslow. Doors open at 7.15 pm. The focus of the meeting will be a talk by Alison Craze titled Brookwood Hospital - Asylum or Intitution.

Next Advice Session

Our next Advice Session will be held at Feltham Library on Saturday May 20th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
